DIGITAL DESIGN DAYS CELEBRATE THEIR 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITHTWO EXTRAORDINARY EVENTS: DDDx IN PALERMO AND DDD IN MILAN.

After the great success of 2024, the Digital Design Days return bigger than ever. 2025 marks a milestone for the leading global digital design community event: for the first time, the DDD reach Sicily with the special edition DDDx on June 27–28, while in Milan, the 10th Anniversary Edition will be celebrated from October 9–11. A double appointment for digital innovators, creatives, and visionaries.

Just like digital design, the DDD format is constantly evolving: introducing DDDx, a itinerant event modeled after the main event in Milan, designed to meet the needs of the central-southern Italian community, and organized to offer new opportunities for inspiration, education, and networking to local communities, organizations, and professionals. Thanks to the support of the local partner Studio 151, the Digital Design Days will take place on June 27–28, 2025 in Palermo at the Cantieri Culturali della Zisa.

“Expanding the boundaries of digital design means embracing change, questioning conventions, and merging disciplines to create experiences that are both innovative and deeply human,”

explains Filippo Spiezia, Founder of DDD.

“Design today goes beyond aesthetics: it moves across AI, sustainability, immersive technologies, and new forms of interaction, rethinking our relationship with the physical and digital world. AI, in particular, is a powerful tool: it speeds up processes, provides insights, and enables large-scale personalization. But keeping the human touch alive is essential to avoid creative flattening. The real challenge will be to integrate efficiency and intuition, algorithms and artistic sensitivity. In the coming years, we expect user experiences to increasingly blend the real and virtual through adaptive environments, multisensory interfaces, and more natural human-machine interaction. This transformation is driven by growing attention to inclusivity, sustainability, and ethics. The Digital Design Days have followed this evolution: born to celebrate creative avant-garde, today they are a meeting point where design becomes a lever for social, cultural, and entrepreneurial change. The pandemic has reinforced our belief that design must meet real needs, improving the quality of life and relationships. Our goal is to create meaningful connections between creatives, companies, and innovators, providing fertile ground for collaboration, growth, and new opportunities. It’s not just about inspiring, but building the future of work, communication, and human interaction together.”
