Generative AI is really present right now and how important is it to you guys?
INTERVIEWED BY Zoë Stern OFFF VIENNA
It is important to be aware of it. I think it is everywhere and it’s the conversation on everyone’s labs at the moment. We do use it, but we using it quite functionally, so in fact apart of our talk we really lightly touch upon our use of it. It’s a practical use we are using it in, like renders, textures etc. It’s a really successful thing to use
it for our fundamental part of work. So we use it everyday. And it’s not doing more than the functional and practical use.
Someone said to me, AI won’t take over or take our jobs, but someone using it, will. You need to stay on the pulse.
Generative AI is really present right now and how do you think AI influences the professional world of creativity?
INTERVIEWED BY Zoë Stern OFFF VIENNA
I think if you have a strong design background or creative background to begin with it’s really great, because it helps you to put your ideas across - to conceptualize, to create, before you put your actual creativity to it. So I think it’s really helpful.
What do you think about the ethical point in AI?
That‘s really a tricky one, and I do think over time or hopefully someday its get better, but for now its such a great area.
You as a company Wild, would you use AI ?
We are currently using it. When we brainstorm ideas, when we first try to come up with key visuals for work and present it to clients. And then we can Illustrators and Artists to help us to bring the vision to life. And we are also working with banks here in Vienna together, to basically assist with chat systems and finding out more information that you need in the bank systems. So we are using it a lot.
Generative AI is really present right now and what do you think about it & how do you use it at studio Blup?
INTERVIEWED BY Zoë Stern OFFF VIENNA
So AI ist such a big thing at the moment and a lot of artists & creators are really getting scared by it. But I would say embrace it and use it as a way of being 5 steps ahead of the machine. So don’t forget AI is learning of what other people are doing, they tryna find new things. So if you say to yourself ‚okey how do I create something that the machines has never seen before‘. That allows you to push yourself as a designer, pushes you of as a creative. So than you try new things and at the same time you get recogness for something amazing.
Don’t be scared of AI, use it as fuel, use it as part of your process and enjoy the ride.
